Aspiring Graduate Student Scholarship

At 含羞草传媒, we believe that graduate education should be accessible to all students, regardless of financial barriers. The Aspiring Graduate Scholarship is designed to support aspiring graduate students who are first-generation scholars and/or demonstrate financial need, helping them take the next step in their academic and professional journeys.
Scholarship Award: $5,000
Application Availability: The scholarship application will be accessible through your application portal beginning May 1, 2026.
Application Deadlines:

  • Priority Deadline: June 1, 2026
  • Final Deadline: June 30, 2026

Eligibility as of 3/1/25: To be considered, applicants must meet one or more of the following criteria聽 and must be applying for or admitted to a graduate program beginning in Spring (January), Summer (May), or Fall (August) 2026:

  • Demonstrated financial need聽
  • First-generation graduate student (neither parent/guardian has earned a graduate or other advanced degree).
  • A commitment to service and/or experience working with underserved communities related to your intended program of study.

*PsyD and DMSc students as well as employees/employee dependents of Augsburg are excluded from eligibility.
