Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Augsburg\u2019s commencement ceremony includes an address by a student speaker and the presentation of two student awards. The Richard J. Thoni Award is given to one member of the graduating class whose actions, commitments, and future aspirations represent commitments to community, hospitality, and innovation. The Marina Christensen Justice Award is given to one member of the senior class whose actions, commitments, and future aspirations most profoundly exemplify Augsburg\u2019s motto: \u201cEducation for Service.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The ceremony recognizes candidates in Augsburg\u2019s three doctoral, nine master\u2019s, and three bachelor\u2019s degree programs:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Doctor of Clinical Psychology<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Doctor of Nursing Practice<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Doctor of Medical Science<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Master of Arts in Education\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Master of Arts in Teaching<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Master of Arts in Leadership<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Master of Arts in Nursing<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Master of Business Administration\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Master of Music Therapy<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Master of Social Work<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Bachelor of Arts<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Bachelor of Music<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Bachelor of Science<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Flags displayed at commencement represent sovereign nations of American Indian students and countries of the international students graduating in the ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Tickets are required to attend in person, but the ceremony will also be livestreamed via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@AugsburgU\">the university\u2019s YouTube channel<\/a> and commencement website.
