She owes her fluency in French to study abroad in Montpellier, France, as well as an academic year as a Fulbright Teaching Assistant just outside of Paris. She is also familiar with the Qu\u00e9becois French dialect thanks to summer trips to visit her bilingual cousin, a tour guide in Qu\u00e9bec City.<\/p>\n<p>With her academic background in Linguistics, especially Phonetics and Phonology, Sharon is able to offer French Phonetics as a Directed Study to interested students.
